[Abstract] Objective: To analyze the effect of continuous nursing intervention on postoperative patients with severe rheumatic heart valve disease. Method: A total of 200 patients with severe rheumatic heart valve disease who underwent heart valve replacement in our hospital from February 2017 to February 2019 were selected as the research subjects, and they were randomly divided into two groups, 100 cases in each group. The conventional group was treated with traditional nursing intervention. The study group used continuous nursing intervention. Differences in quality of life assessment scores and knowledge of anticoagulation therapy were compared between the two groups of patients. Result: (1) There were no significant differences in the quality of life scores between the two groups of patients before the intervention (P>0.05). After the intervention, the scores of the two groups were significantly better than those before the intervention, and the overall scores of health, physiology, psychology, social relations, environment, family, diet and quality of life dimensions in the study group were significantly better than those in the conventional group (P<0.05). (2) Before the intervention, there were no significant differences in the knowledge of anticoagulation between the two groups of patients (P>0.05). After the intervention, the indicators in the study group were significantly higher than those in the conventional group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Continuing nursing intervention can obviously improve the quality of life of patients with severe rheumatic heart valve replacement, and improve the mastery of relevant content of anticoagulation therapy. It is recommended to be widely used in clinical nursing.
